Florence Foster Jenkins
Premise: True story of a world war two era socialite who stunned (and delighted) the world with her incredibly bad singing voice and indelible spirit.
Review: This movie was very sweet and fun. I truly enjoyed the hilarity of the plot and thought that Hugh Grants performance was very engaging. Of course, Meryl Streep killed it with her not so subtle off key performance (if you listen to the actual recordings, Meryl sounds just like the real Jenkins). Simon Helberg's stellar performance as the unwilling pianist rounded out the cast.
